Still Leaning into my spirt animal, FroBird. This is a beautiful bird! Plus I like how the photo displays with the blog post!
His beautiful color and magical song. The difference between the female and the male Cardinal is astounding. But I did notice the female Cardinal is no joke some actual have different degrees of red and orange in their feathers probably due to the time of year, diet, and age.
And they are pretty awesome looking as they take flight….
The G.S.O.A.T (Greatest Soprano of All Time) Next to my Mom Dale Baxter
I truly can say I was doing ok until I started researching and adding the recordings of the Madam Price to this blog post. My mother past away over 23 years ago from metastatic breast cancer, and I remember her high and clear soprano voice as she watched Christmas specials and she loved Oh Holy night. I remember her voice soaring through the house as she sang this with clarity and gusto. While most of her sisters claimed Alto, she was clearly a soprano. I always think with a little bit of encouragement and training she would have made it out of Princess Anne County and a similar trajectory like Madame Price. Madame Price left small-time Laurel, Mississippi to be trained at Julliard and then receive the longest standing ovation for her performance in Il trovatore in 1961
So my musical selection vacillate between classically respectable and ratchet, but it all makes me so happy!
