He and TD Jakes-endorsed businessman Johnny Wimbrey allegedly got scammed out of $500K by a company called Traders Domain FX, a “forex” trading firm that was more Ponzi than profit. Guess even a Hall of Famer can fumble the financial ball.
🏦 The Berkshire Bank ‘Customer Service’ Model
Meanwhile, Berkshire Bank is facing a lawsuit for allegedly “aiding and abetting” a $100 million Ponzi scheme. The bank is accused of turning a blind eye to red flags and suspicious activity in exchange for lucrative account balances. Because at Berkshire, “customer service” isn’t just a motto—it’s an accomplice.
Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower was intended to be part of a series of six novels, which were planned as Parable of the Talents, Parable of the Trickster, Parable of the Teacher, Parable of Chaos, and Parable of Clay.
