Persist, and Consequence Shall Induce Itself…Has A Fro. Black Folks Embracing 18th Century Gathering of the Gworls feliciabaxter

Just in time for #BlackHistoryMonth #theegalenjwilliams out here converting ebonics to polite 18th-century gathering….Bahaha! The Count of Monte Cristo is being revisited by African American readers, who see it as a story of survival and excellence in a world designed to erase them. The book’s themes of betrayal, political turmoil, and the pursuit of justice resonate with the experiences of black professionals navigating systemic barriers. The upcoming PBS adaptation and a Pulitzer Prize-winning biography of Dumas are fueling a cultural reclamation of his heritage and a deeper appreciation for the novel’s complexities. Repeating anti-inflammatory protocol. The "Farm-to-Mug" Daily Anti-Inflammatory Protocol This schedule optimizes your body’s natural circadian rhythms to dampen "meta-inflammation" throughout the day. Morning: The "Activation" Phase 07:00 AM – Hydration Kickstart: Drink 12oz of warm lemon water. The citric acid aids digestion and provides an immediate Vitamin C boost to lower oxidative stress. 08:00 AM – The Neural Clarity Tea: Simmer your rosemary and ginger for 10 minutes (covered). Add a teaspoon of raw honey. This opens up circulation and provides a neuroprotective start to your workday. 09:30 AM – Anti-Inflammatory Harvest Juice: Using the ingredients from your indoor garden, juice celery and red-fleshed apple with a pinch of turmeric and black pepper. Afternoon: The "Maintenance" Phase 01:00 PM – The "Big Harvest" Salad: Use a base of the dark leafy greens visible in your photo (Kale and Chard). 03:00 PM – Movement Break: A 10-minute brisk walk. Physical activity helps "flush" cytokines from the muscle tissue and improves insulin sensitivity. Evening: The "Recovery" Phase 07:00 PM – Low-Glycemic Dinner: Focus on healthy fats (omega-3s) like salmon or walnuts, paired with more garden-fresh veggies. 09:00 PM – Digital Detox: Chronic inflammation is tied to cortisol. Turn off screens 1 hour before bed to lower stress hormones and allow the body to enter "repair mode. Check out my music on Spotify and Apple or wherever you listen to music! This is extended notes from my podcast originally published December 2019. I was way happy then!

Oh its about to go down! This one promises to be one of the most fun to produce! This is part 1 of the Gingerbread v Sugar Cookie discussion with myself!

We are in the holiday season and people are having cookie exchanges and swear up and down that the holiday season is not the same if they don’t have sugar cookies or gingerbread cookies. Well, neither is my experience, and both recipes seem well…kind of lame and they need to be jazzed up with the duct tape of food…BACON!!! That’s right ya’ll I will be adding bacon bit instead of sprinkles to my cookies and seeing how it flies! Hmm…I wonder if adding a little softened bacon fat instead of butter will give it an additional savory dimension…I’ll let ya’ll know! I am not a chef so this episode and I may have to make this episode Explicit due to the cussing you may hear in the background, just sayin’ consider yourself warned.

Buttered Rum is the Devil. With or without bacon…Hot_Buttered_Rum.jpg

I will also perform a reading from Dickens Christmas Carol with jazzy Christmas Carols in the background. Navigate to my Black Excellence in Christmas Music, Mariah Carey’s Classic All I Want For Christmas Is You is Number 1 after 25 years!!
