TNFro Is Reading The Second Episode of the 12 Podcasts of Christmas

Creating My Podcast At The Lake

Welcome to another episode of TNFro Is Reading.

This is the second episode of my 12 Podcasts of Christmas. In this episode of I will continue to celebrate the Christmas season.

I continue to celebrate Black excellence with celebration of both Mahalia Jackson’s whose music serves as background for this episode and Kehinde Wiley Rumors_of_War_Kehinde_Wiley.jpeg

The black artist, Kehinde Wiley, created Rumors of War-Black man on a horse, the newest confederate statue on Monument in Richmond which will serve to change the narrative.

Mahalia Jackson   Mahalia_Jackson_1962__van_Vechten__LC-USZ62-91314.jpg “I sing God’s music because it makes me feel free”, Jackson once said about her choice of gospel, adding, “It gives me hope. With the blues, when you finish, you still have the blues.”

Random Ish-I viewed and review YENTL by Barbara personal protest since the Golden Globes refuse to recognize women this year. Auntie Mame because it was on TCM last night–Auntie Mame is a 1958 American Technicolor comedy film based on the 1955 novel of the same name by Patrick Dennis and its theatrical adaptation by Jerome Lawrence and Robert Edwin Lee. This film version stars Rosalind Russell and was directed by Morton DaCosta. Also I don’t understand how the African American Film Critics Association gave Best Picture to US by Jordan Peele and I completely agree with my friend Janelle’s assessment, “

I get mad every time I see the trailer for it on On Demand😠

Dobblegangers should have killed them all in the first 15 mins and spared us the rest of the 1 hr 45 mins” Bahhahahahha.

And will conclude with  a reading of the Nativity Story, The Birth of Jesus Christ, the first and worst AirBnB story ever. But a story of beginnings and survival on the grandest of scale.
